Mary Lou's Story
After high school I took the summer off, September '62 I went to work at Zody's, I met my wonderful husband Richard, (San Fernado High School '62) at Zuma Beach,(June 1, 1964)we were married October 14, 1964. We have four wonderful kids, Richard Jr.,David, and twin daughters Jaye and Jen and three great, wonderful and smart grand kids, McKenzie and Tristan and Sunny born June 29, 2010 at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara. I have had a great life, we go camping and fishing every year at Twin Lakes, outside of Bridgeport, Ca.(the whole family) For 10 years I held the family record of having caught the biggest trout (4 lbs. 4 ozs.)Until my husband got a 5 lb. t...Expand for more
rout a year ago this past summer.In the pass 10 years we have been going to Hawaii once or twice a year and we love to go to Vegas every month. My husband coach three of the four kids in three sports until they reached high school. The twins went on the play soccer at Westmont College in Santa Barbara and Richard and I didn't miss one game.That is when I got over my fear of flying. We had horses in the early '70 and in '75 I gave up my horse as we had the twins. My babies came first. Grandson Preston Lee was born August 19, 2011, so now we have two granddaughters and two grandsons!!! Our last grand kids is Oakley James born one month early September 12, 2012.
